Divine Mercy Chaplet in the Streets of the World 2017

Divine Mercy Chaplet in the Streets of the World is the annual event organised on  28 September, the anniversary of the beatification of Michał Sopoćko, St Faustina’s confessor, when thousands of people gather at 3 p.m. at squares and crossroads of their towns and villages to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

Pope Francis has been uniting with us and blessing us for two years. This time, once again we humbly ask him to bless us and to unite with us in this prayer.

This year we pray in the following intentions:

1. For priests, so that they fulfill God’s will as passed by Him to St Faustina; Tell My priests that hardened sinners will repent on hearing their words when they speak about My unfathomable mercy, about the compassion I have for them in My Heart. To priests who proclaim and extol My mercy, I will give wondrous power; I will anoint their words and touch the hearts of those to whom they will speak (Diary 1521).

2. For peace in the world, especially in the Middle East, for the return of the refugees to their homelands and help to rebuild their homes

3. For our homelands, towns, families and ourselves.

Hundreds of towns in Poland and many dozens in other countries joined this extraordinary prayer event in previous years. Please visit us at  to view the photogallery.

Take your rosary, invite others and pray together in the intentions mentioned above. You can also pray in your personal intentions or those of your own neighbourhood. God’s Mercy knows no boundaries; it flows where people humbly ask for it. Join your spiritual forces with those of your fellow believers and pray for God’s mercy on you and on the whole world. Your very reading of this invitation gives us hope that you will be there, on 28 September 2017,  at 3 p.m.

Divine Mercy Chaplet in the Streets of the World 2017 is under the honorary patronage of bishop Marek Marczak of the diocese of Łódź.
